On Sunday 2 July Therance Nininahazwe performed gospel songs at Penn Blind School. This live concert targeted people around the school, school stuff, many churches’ representatives and choirs , pastors and visitors from Bujumbura town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therence Ninihazwe is a gospel signer with blindness disability. Like other gospel signers, he uses his voice to convey his passion and belief. On Sunday 4 July, he performed in choir in church. The social science leaner in first form performed many gospel songs with his colleagues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Talking about himself, Nininahazwe said he was born in Kayanza Province, Kabarore Commune, Jene zone, Kigeri quarter. He is the 4th of 7 children in his family. With low income, his mother can not go down to visit him. Consequently, he frequently goes to visit his family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scholars said that sixty percent of blind children experienced difficult in their life. Study showed that blindness or low vision does have psychological implications like feeling of guilt anxiety, sadness and depression. Mrs Uwiragiye Sylvie did not reject that fact but said children living with blindness disability have also talents. She argued that children due to the disabilities they are sometimes discriminated but they can discriminate themselves due to their health state. She promised to support Penn Blind School’s all pupils especially those who are developing their talents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pastor Nyabenda Israel explained why people should singe for God. He said Christians must take into account king David whose songs aimed to glorify God, to offer sacrifices and to ask pardon. So, he remembered the audience that different instruments such umuduri, ikembe and inanga are mandatory to magnify the All Might God. He concluded that Therance Nininahazwe is imitating king David, the first gospel signer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emphasizing the case of Nininahazwe, Mrs Uwiragiye Sylvie said he is a talented learner whose passion pushes to express his feelings. This point of view is shared with Shurweryimana Benigne, a 7 class pupil who qualify Therance as a \u00a0\u00bbgospel professional signer\u00a0\u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therance told journalists that when the legal representative of the Uwiragiye Foundation wanted to gather children living with blindness, he was picked up among these children. In 2019, the Foundation relocated Espoir de l’Avenir school whose children were living with that disability, and it was taken to Kabezi, Penn Blind School location. As far as his studies are concerned, he reported he is studying without any problems and ranks among the top students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m going to sing here at home and across the borders to the ends of the world, spreading the word of God through songs of peace, to calm people’s souls by affirming that Christ is the King who loves us. I have many reasons to praise the Lord. Firstly, Jesus Christ saved me, was crucified on the cross and now I live in freedom. If he hadn’t saved me, I wouldn’t have had pigeons for sacrifice because in the Old Testament, it’s written that they offered pigeons and sacrifices. Secondly, in 2005, some criminals threw a grenade at me and I didn’t die. There are many reasons for this, but I’ve just mentioned two of them. I can’t forget that God gave us a good country, with a good atmosphere, said Therance Nininahazwe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therance called upon journalists to spread his achievements in to reach the potential sponsors. However, he noted that he wouldn’t to be supported as a beggar but like someone who is going forward in business. Nininahazwe expressed his disappointment for African people who really \u00a0\u00bbdo not know their talents\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whatever I am living , what I do and attract persons is my financial seed, he said. If you are joker, if you are a signer , whatever you do and which is admired can help you to live. I came to realize that I have a talent which can help me to live,Therance added. He finally, urged beggars to move up this behavior and think twice how they can live because begging is never a career. <\/p>\n\r\n
